I get a further exception if I click on he 'Add Team Project' button in the 'Select Team Project' dialog (this window opens after I close the window that displays the first exception. Note that I replaced the real sever name with question marks in the message below. The server name was correct and is available.

Hi,

Have you install previous version of BOWIE ?
If yes, go to C:\Users[username]\AppData\Roaming\OWIPlugin\ and delete FavoritesTeamProject.owi file.
Stop and restart Outlook, then retry.

Thanks Ben! I was just able to attach an email to a Work Item. Deleting the FavoritesTeamProject.owi file as you suggested above did the trick.
