Bewise Outlook Work Items Extension is a TFS 2008/2010 addin for Outlook 2007/2010.

Pre-Requisites
Before install BOWIE, install Visual Studio 2010 RTM (or Visual Studio Team Explorer 2010 RTM) and Outlook 2007 (or Outlook 2010) :

Installation
Download and run BOWIE 2010 executable to install it.
Features available in BOWIE 2010
Connect To Team Server
- Connect to Team Server and select your Team Projects
- Manage Areas and Iterations

- Manage Project Alerts

From existing mails (integrated in the ribbon)
- Create Work Item from mail :
- you can define mapping between mail and work item

- Attach mail to existing work item in several formats as html, msg, txt...
- last selected query is saving

- Upload mail attachments to WSS Team Portal
- you can double click on an attchment to open it

From new mails (integrated in the ribbon) :
- Download documents from WSS Team Portal and add it as mail attchments or html link
- Execute project report and add it to mail attachments (several formats as web archive, pdf, excel, tiff...)
- Insert work item infos and work item attachments in mail
- you can select several work items

- the result of selected query include all of the columns from the TFS query

- last selected query is save as default query

- if you select ID column of work items, a link to TFS Web Access is define (only for TFS 2010)

From a mail folder :
- Right click on a mail folder, "Team"->"Manage Team Project Link" : Manage links between mail folder and Team Project. This feature allow you to map team project to mail folder and :
- configure automatic creation of work item when you drag'n drop a mail in this folder
- Select team project
- Select work item type
- Define mapping between mail and work item
- Define if you want that mail will be attach to work item (several format : txt, msg, html)
- Define if you want that mail attachments will be attach to work item
- Define if you want that all mails of one conversation will be tracking in one work item
- configure automatic upload of mail attachments to team portal
- Define destination librairy

- Define filter by file extensions (delimited by semicolon caracter)

- Right click on a mail folder, "Team"->"Move Mail To" : Move mails to another folder depending on state of attached work item

From Calendar :
- Right click on a calendar folder, "Team"-> "Link To Team Builds" : Manage Links between calendar folder and Team Builds : this feature allow you to visualize team builds in a calendar and configure the appointment color depending on the state of build.

- From an appointment attached to a build, click on "Build Report" to show the TFS Web Access Report (only for TFS 2010)

From appointments and Tasks (integrated in the ribbon) :
- Create work item from appointment
- Download project report and add it to appointment attachments
- Download documents from WSS Team Portal and add it as appointment attachments
- Upload appointment attachments to WSS Team Portal
